Melamine MDF

Grooved Slotted MDF Board For Display Wall Panels

Product Introduction

banner.png

Slotting MDF Description

Slotting Melamine MDF (Medium Density fiberboard) boards as Display Wall Panels, the chrome plating metal hooks are used to display products. The metal hooks can slide anywhere in the slot, making it easy to adjust the spacing and layout according to product size and display requirements.

The surface of the density board is flat, the grooves are straight, the width and depth are uniform, and the edges are smooth. After the grooves are cut, the hook base can be hidden, which is more visually concise.

Use a CNC router to ensure the slots are straight, uniform in width and depth, and have smooth edges.

Density board has a smooth surface and is easy to machine. Slotting can conceal the hook base, creating a cleaner look.

Installing Slotting Display MDF:

1.Leveling the Wall: Ensure the installation surface is flat.

2.Choosing a Mounting Method:

1)Invisible Hanging: The most aesthetically pleasing option. Slot or drill holes on the back of the panel for mounting a "Z-shaped hanging plate," "hanging plate clip," or other similar mounting methods. Then, install corresponding wall nails or mounting strips. Suitable for heavier panels.

2)L-Shaped Brackets: Install L-shaped metal brackets at the bottom (and top, if necessary) of the panel to secure the brackets to the wall. These provide good load-bearing performance, but the brackets will be slightly visible. Choose a compact, elegant design.

3)Heavy-Duty Expansion Screws/Wall Anchors: Pre-drill countersunk holes on the back of the panel and secure directly to the wall using countersunk bolts and heavy-duty expansion screws (such as Fischer anchors) or through-the-wall bolts (if the wall is solid brick or concrete). The screw heads are sunk into the panel, and the surface can be covered with putty. Suitable for thick, heavy-duty applications requiring high load-bearing capacity.

3. Anchoring Points: At least four anchoring points are required (at the four corners), and larger panels require more. Position the anchoring points as close to the panel edges and near the notches as possible to secure them to supported areas.

Slotting Requirements

1. Slot Size:

Width: Slightly larger than the width of your chosen hook mounting plate or the span of the T-nut. Common slot widths are 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm.

Depth: Generally 1/3 to 1/2 the board thickness.

2. Slot Spacing: Determine based on display requirements and hook size. Common spacings include 100mm, 200mm, and 300mm. Multiple parallel slots increase hook layout flexibility.

3. Slot Length: Typically runs the entire length of the board to allow for full hook adjustability.
